Bey-Hari Singh was exceptionally brave; his name and fame travelled afar.
Kings in Delhi, Deccan, China and Tibet trembled at the mere mention of his name.
The legendary Raja Karan, Raja Bikramajit and Hatim Tai were all famous, said Kadaryar,
But none could match him (Hari Singh) in philanthropy.

Hari Singh Nalwa's life and times has been compiled into a book (Nalwa, V. 2009. Hari Singh Nalwa ― Champion of the Khalsaji, New Delhi: Manohar), based on research carried out over eight years by one of our Trustees. The money generated from the sale of this book presently forms our corpus (see Shop Online for more details).

We firmly believe that to derive maximum benefit from any service an individual needs to make a personal contribution. We therefore encourage those who avail of our services, to provide some token payment through voluntary work.
