The Hari Singh Nalwa Foundation Trust supports the Sikh Humanitarian Society run by a group of professionally qualified individuals who work purely on a voluntary basis.
The Sikh Humanitarian Society was set up in the year 2002 with the objective of imparting free education to the girl child. The idea behind this move was that if social reform was to be achieved, one sure way was by assuring that the girl child received an education. If girls, mothers of tomorrow, were given a proper education they would be in a better position to inculcate the appropriate moral and personal qualities in the generations to come. |
